مسابقة المنامة للتصوير الضوئي 2009
الاهداف :
1- ابراز معالم العاصمة خلال 50 سنة.
2- التطور الحضاري و المعماري في القرن الماضي و الحاضر
3- توثيق تاريخ العاصمة و حياة الناس في كتاب
4- نشر الثقافة الضوئية كفن راقي يهتم بالحياة و المجتمع
محاور المسابقة :
1- الصور القديمة – أصلية و ليست مستنسخة
2- الصور الحديثة: ونقسم هذا المحور لفرعين
المحور الأول- الصور القديمة :
الشروط :
1- لكل متسابق الحق بالمشاركة بأي عدد من الصور.
2- تقبل جميع الأحجام المطبوعة، والأفلام السالبة و الموجبة، أو منسوخة رقميا بجودة عالية مع إبراز الصور الأصلية.
3- سوف تعاد الصور الأصلية لأصحابها.
4- تقبل الصور بالأبيض والأسود أو الألوان.
5- يجب أن تبرز الصور معالم العاصمة أو حياة الناس فيها.
6- يجب أن تكون الصور ملتقطة قبل استقلال البحرين 1971
7- كتابة بعض البيانات وشرح عن كل صورة ( مثال : المكان و الزمان).
8- المشاركة في المسابقة للمقيمين في مملكة البحرين فقط.
9- بالمشاركة بقر المتسابق بملكيته للصور ويعطي بذلك الحق للقائمين على المسابقة بنشر الصور بالطرق التي يرونها مناسبة للترويج للمسابقة أو المسابقات للسنوات القادمة.
10- نتائج المسابقة نهائية و لن تقبل أي اعتراضات.
المحور الثاني – الصور الحديثة : محورين
أ- حياة الناس : كل ما يبرز حياة الناس في محافظة العاصمة المنامة من خلال أعمالهم واحتفالاتهم وطرق حياتهم بشكل عام.
ب- معالم العاصمة : كل ما يبرز المعالم الحديثة و القديمة في العاصمة، من معمار، أسواق، الحدائق و …
الشروط :
1- خمس صور في كل محور لكل متسابق.
2- تقبل الصور بالأبيض و الأسود أو الملونة.
3- تقدم الصور على CD/DVD فقط وعلى هيئة JPG
4- جودة الصورة يجب أن لا تقل عن 300 dpi وحجم 1600 Pixels في الطول أو العرض
5- بالمشاركة بقر المتسابق بملكيته للصور ويعطي بذلك الحق للقائمين على المسابقة بنشر الصور بالطرق التي يرونها مناسبة للترويج للمسابقة أو المسابقات للسنوات القادمة.نتائج المسابقة نهائة و لن تقبل اي اعتراضات.
6- المشاركة في المسابقة للمقيمين في مملكة البحرين فقط.
الجوائز:
· مجموع الجوائز تصل إلى أكثر من 2000 دينار بحريني.
ملاحظات:
· سيتم إفتتاح المعرض في الإسبوع الثالث من شهر سبتمبر 2009.
· سوف يقام المعرض في إحدى الصالات المعروفة في مدينة المنامة.
· آخر موعد لإستلام الصور بتاريخ 5 سبتمبر 2009.
· ترسل الأعمال على عنوان الجمعية البحرينية للتصوير الضوئي ص.ب. : 21157

Manama Photography Competition 2009
Objectives:
1. Highlight the features of Bahrain through 50 years.
2. Highlight the cultural and architectural development in the last century and the present.
3. Documenting the history of the capital of Bahrain and the cultures of the people in a book.
4. Spreading the photographical culture as an elegant art concern the society and life.
Contest Themes:
The contest includes two main themes
1- The aged photograph
2- The contemporary photograph. This theme has 2 categories
First theme: Aged photograph
Conditions:
1-Each participant have the right to submit any numbers of photographs.
2-All photo size prints, negative or positive film, and high quality copied photo with the original copy are accepted. All original documents will be return back to the owner.
3-Color or black & white photographs are accepted.
4-Photograph must highlight the capital of Bahrain features or the culture of people .
5-Photograph must be taken before Bahrain independent in 1971.
6-Applicant must write some information and brief explanation for each photo (e.g. time and place)
7-Contest is only for the residents of Bahrain.
9-By participating, the applicant declares that he or she is the owner of the photos and gives the Organizers of the competition the right to publish the photos for the purpose of promoting the current competition and the future competitions.
10-The contest results will be final and no objections will be discussed.
Second theme: Contemporary photograph
This theme has 2 categories:
1- People Culture: Any thing highlight people culture in the capital governorate whether in works, ceremonies, or the way they live their life in general.
2- Capital features: Any thing highlight the modern and old features in the capital (architecture, market, parks, est. )
Conditions:
1-Each participant can submit a maximum of five digital files in each category of the theme
2-Color and black & white photos are allowed
3-Photograph must be in digital file (JPEG) and submitted on CD or DVD
4-Quality of the photograph must be at least 300 dpi and minimum 1600 pixels for height or width size.
5-Contest is only for Bahrain residents.
6-The applicant has the ownership on his works but the Organizers have the right to publish and print the work in a proper way.
